excellent
Best vampire novel I've ever read!
The best book ever!

On Second thought...My original opinion was based on an error in judgement. I initially mistook the quotes of some of the sources as the personal position of the author.
It is well worth reading, for anyone who wishes to know more about cousin relationships. The book includes two chapters on romantic/marital entanglements, which, I will forwarn, may sometimes be unsuitable for the younger audience.
One final caution... Be careful not to assume the quoted sources are the author's prejudice. It is quite easy to come away with that impression if one is not paying attention.
Entertaining and thoughtful
TRIUMPHI could not put this book down, and found it enlightening when it came to the chapter on cousin marriages, who knew such a taboo subject could be written about with such grace, tact, and truthfulness. If you ever wondered about your family this is a great place to find spirited, humorous and thoughtful solace, along with insight and educational tools. There is no deny it Cousins is "A Unique and Powerful" Book.

GARFIELD RULES!
This Is one of the best Garfield Books ever.

Good mostly for completists and Unglued fansThe introductory material (i.e., the section before the expansions are presented) is a bare minimum in this volume: "How to Use this Guide" and "A Visual Guide to Magic Cards". Each expansion covered in Volume 4, as usual, is provided with an introduction, describing any new twists added for that set (including new types of decks that came about as a result), and any noteworthy cards in that set. The introductions provide an informative overview (including descriptions of storylines that were added or updated by the release being described). The entertainment value of the introductions is in inverse proportion to the number of broken cards in the expansion and the severity of the flaws, so with the exception of the deliberately broken Unglued expansion, the introductions in this volume are rather bland. The individual cards for each expansion are listed in alphabetical order; they're shown at about 3/4 actual size. The versions of Magic that included those cards (at the time of printing) are specified, as well as any errata. The card lists' images artwork and flavour text came out well.
Having said all that, I would rate this as a mediocre, and even dull volume of the encyclopedia. Consider, if you will, that I have ranted about the encyclopedia's policy of dribbling out a few expansions at a time instead of waiting until they have a substantive amount of material built up. So why have I rated this volume as highly as I have?
I'm very fond of the Unglued expansion: that deliberately broken expansion put in for fun, deliberately designed to wind up the rules lawyers, and stuffed with in-jokes about broken cards in previous expansions. "Blacker Lotus", for example, has artwork similar to Black Lotus, and it's even more powerful - but you have to tear up the card to play it, and it's rare. Lots of cards for summoning chickens, squirrels, and clams (Clam-I-Am, Clam Session, and Clambassadors are all cute). The introduction for Unglued points out lots of little things you might miss on your own (e.g., each card has a word down by the copyright; placed in numeric order, the cards spell out a hidden message from the designers).
A great reference for Collectors
Volume 4 - too soon

A great idea but hard to understandI found the fuzzy, poorly reproduced sequential photographs of the casting motions difficult to follow. In my opinion, not photographs but a series of clear illustrations, showing the side and overhead view of the cast, could have served as an effective visual tool.
If nothing else, this book will at least make one aware of different casting techniques to increase casting distance which is valuable in itself.
Unique, clearly written, practical for fisherman
To all sports fisherman, a great book to read!

Typically Garfield...I just find it hard to commit these insults to memory....
MEMORIES
The best book

Another Good Full Color Adventure For The Fat Cat, Garfield.garfield at his best here. Getting into all sorts of mischief but always remembering to "sleep on it," and dingling odie's ball until he loses his mind. the Sunday comics (in beautiful color here) were previously available in black in white in his hilarious mini-books Garfield By Pound (#22), Garfield Keeps His Chins Up (#23), garfield Takes His Licks (#24) and Garfield Hits The Big Time (#25). I think having Garfield in color is the best way to go. It's great that now the books are being released completely in color (go buy the first three books right now!).
The 7th Garfield Treasury is very funny, and despite missing logos (only reason I didn't give it five stars) it's a worthy, funny book to purchase.
Nice cover art, too!
Good job, Garfield!!
Garfield, Odie, and Jon make some laugh out loud scenes
